The Hammerfist Strikes are harder than they look -- much harder. Grandmaster C. K. Choi demonstrated the second Sparring Pattern with me -- "Hammerfist-Striking Sparring Pattern" -- another example of original Tae Kwon Do, from the 1960s. The pattern used to be posted here, but I removed it, because it will soon be available on DVD.
